Serenity Center for change is a public benefit nonprofit based in Orange, California. Our desire and dream is to provide "services" to those who could not otherwise afford it. This includes, individual counseling, family therapy, EQUINE therapy. We are solely funded by donations.

All our horses have been rescued from abuse, neglect or abandonment. We work with the horses daily to show them love and rebuild their hope again. It is when an abused or neglected child meets one of our horses... that the true miracle begins. Healing happens at a rate and level that no other human can create. There is something magical about the spirit of the horse... and we are blessed to witness those magical moments when a child and horse build together trust, love and HOPE...

I met her some time ago... I wanted to buy her then, but I couldn't afford the asking price. Many months later the owner donated the mare to us (Serenity Center for Change)... The horse had lost a tremendous amount of weight and needed a lot of LOVE. She has been placed in Norco, California ~ where she is receiving that love. Working with abused children, this horse offers something so incredible... HOPE. Her needs are many as she was diagnosed as "lame"... For many people, a "lame" horse is a "dead" horse and even the vet suggested putting her down. We believe in her life and refused to even consider ending her life. Grace has made a tremendous turn around and is doing well. If you'd like to sponsor this Mare... please contact Dr. Krista Driver about our sponsor program. All support sent for sponsoring a horse... WILL be used only for the HORSE.

In addition to the Equine therapy, we also rescue abused and neglected canine's. Often times the dogs help facilitate sessions with kids and the process is unique and incredible.
